Video (8’17”)

Blue rails, Beige city is the first part of a video hexalogy, an eight-minute loop that layers Manipulated Images, Panoramas and Google Earth stills to examine the hidden infrastructure of cities and our lived experience within them. This opening chapter is rooted in my own journey, tracing the architectures of my current surroundings alongside the metropolis of Tehran, where I was born. By weaving frozen, hyper-detailed snapshots of urban chaos together with a bespoke stereo soundscape melding field recordings, processed voice fragments, and generative tones I aim to create an experimental cinematic exploration of self, place, and what that binds us to our environments.
